1. Information the App Collects

We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your store's data. Our App is designed to minimize data collection. Specifically:

Product Data: We access and process information related to your store's product catalog via the Shopify API (such as product titles, descriptions, prices, images, and variants). This data is necessary to provide the core functionality of the App.

No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): The App does not collect, access, store, or process any personal data of your end-customers, such as customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, delivery addresses, or payment details. We do not access Shopify's customer or order scopes.

App Usage and Tracking Data: We collect technical and operational tracking data regarding how the App is used (e.g., performance logs, feature usage statistics, and error reports). This data is collected strictly to maintain, optimize, and secure the App's services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

To provide, operate, and maintain the App's core features.

To process product data for generating optimizations, insights, or automated content.

To monitor and analyze App performance, debug issues, and improve the overall user experience.

3. Data Storage and Security

We prioritize the security of your store's data:

Hetzner Cloud Hosting: All operational logs, application configurations, and tracking data are securely stored in a private database hosted on Hetzner Cloud infrastructure located within the European Union (Germany). Hetzner Cloud complies with strict ISO 27001 certification standards and European data protection regulations (GDPR).

Data Encryption: Data transmitted between Shopify, our servers, and third-party APIs is encrypted using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL). Data at rest is securely stored using modern encryption protocols.

4. Third-Party Services and Sub-processors

In order to provide our services, we may share or process data with trusted third-party service providers acting as sub-processors:

Shopify: To fetch and update your product catalog as permitted by your active session and granted access scopes.

Google (Gemini API): Product data (such as titles and descriptions) may be transmitted to the Google Gemini API for processing and text/content generation. No personal data is ever sent to Google. Google processes this data in accordance with their API Terms of Service and data privacy commitments.

5. Data Retention

We retain product data only for as long as necessary to perform the requested actions or while the App remains installed on your store. If you uninstall the App, your store's product cached data and associated configurations will be automatically or manually deleted within 48 hours, except where retention is required by legal obligations.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, operational infrastructure, or for legal and regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this policy or via the Shopify Partner Dashboard.
